Label: +1 Records
Album: The Postelles
Artist: The Postelles
Genre: Indie Rock
A new gem in the indie rock world, The Postelles have been quoted in Rolling Stone to “sound like the wound-up early hours of what will be a long Saturday night on the town.” This New York City-raised group has a fresh sound that’s reminiscent of the mod-scene with a post-punk edge that’ll make you want to get up and dance! The Postelles’ debut self-titled album was co-produced by The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr., with tracks having been remixed by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor and The Knocks. Get a taste of their sound at Rolling Stone here. Also, be on the lookout for them later this summer when they perform on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Album: Live At Sunset, SF
Artist: Moniker
Genre: Electronic, House
Moniker's sound is describable yet completely unique; thoughtful, deep, 4/4, vintage, analog, mostly instrumental house music performed using an array of keyboards and drum machines - partially programmed and partially improvised - and never the same twice. These Bay Area boys really capture the San Francisco fringe scene but add their own flair. On June 13th, 2010, Eo and Kenneth of Moniker received the distinct invitation of performing their live set for a massive crowd of up-for-it Sunset partygoers, and the rest as they say, is history. Fortunately for all of us, high-resolution digital recorders were on hand, capturing the duo's biggest performance to date in all its glory. Live At Sunset, SF is the un-edited, gapless playback mix from that very special afternoon.
