At Indie Week BlinkerActive will be participating as in the “Tech Day: Case Studies Using Metrics/Analytics” panel. There, we will be joined by other digital marketing experts in reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness of certain marketing techniques in various case studies. Meanwhile, A2IM’s UK counterpart AIM (Association of Independent Music) will be hosting AIM For America 2011, an event focusing on helping UK music businesses work successfully within the US digital market. IRIS Distribution CEO Matt Laszuk will be participating in the panel “How the US Does Digital”, where he will provide insight into key differences between the US and UK digital markets. The discussion will cover various subtopics including mechanicals, differing approaches to business in the US versus the UK markets, cloud lockers, sync deals, and the future of music in the digital space. In addition to the panel, Matt will be attending the one-on-one sessions.
